Board Members
Meet our dedicated board members who volunteer their time and expertise to support Aldrin Elementary's mission of making every child's potential a reality.

Jennifer Watson
President
Hello! My name is Jenny Watson and I am this year’s PTA President. My oldest son, Jack, is in 2nd grade and I will have an upcoming kindergartner next year. I joined the PTA to support Aldrin students and staff. I think parent involvement in their child’s education and school is a great way to support your student and the staff members at school who spend a lot of time with our kiddos. The PTA is a great way to meet other Aldrin families and Staff members. It is also a great way to be involved in a lot of fun Aldrin activities and events throughout the year.

Erin Ray
Secretary
I have two kids at Aldrin- my oldest, Mabel is in Mrs. Harvey’s 2nd grade class and my younger daughter Alice, is in Mrs. Hansen’s Kindergarten class. I joined the PTA board because I wanted to be more involved in my child’s school and to support the amazing teachers and staff who make Aldrin such a great place. I think the PTA is important because it helps provide programs and extras that make the school the best it can be and it helps bulid a stronger community by bringing partents teacher and families together.

Steve Bowen
Treasurer
My daughter Ellie is in Mr. Dyer’s 4th grade class, my son Bennett is in Ms. Schehl’s 5th grade class, and my son AJ is a proud Aldrin alum now experiencing the joys of waking up too early for middle school. I joined the PTA to support the students and the amazing teachers and staff. I joind the board because I was promised snacks, that was 7 years ago, I’m still the Treasurer and still waiting for the snacks. It is great to ive back tot he Aldrin community and help provide fun events for Aldrin familes, while also supporting the traeches and staff wo do so much for our kids everyday.

Kristen Miller
VP of Membership
My daughter Annie is a 2nd grader in Mrs. Harvey’s class. I joined the PTA so that I could learn more about the school, the teachers and the activities offered to the students. I have stayed because it is a wonderful way to be involved and give back to the Aldrin community. At the next event stop by the PTA table and say Hello!

Pamela Fraser
VP Family Events
I have three sons—Jack, 7th grader at HMS; Enzo, 2nd grader in Ms. Bennetti’s class; and Cosimo, at Primrose and a rising kindergartener. I joined the PTA - and later the Board - to help manage the events our kids love. It’s a great way to meet other parents and give back to an amazing community. The PTA connects families and staff to create opportunities beyond the classroom - field trips, celebrations, and support for teachers - and I love the welcoming, can-do community that makes Aldrin so special.

Serife Karagoz
VP Advocacy
My son Efe is a 3rd grader in Mrs. Turner’s class. I joined the PTA because I care about our kids and the community that surrounds them. It’s a way for Aldrin parents to connect, support one another, and make an impact.

Amy Hawthorne
VP Communications
Hi, I’m Amy, and I’m honored to serve as the Vice President of Communications on our PTA Board. When I was invited to join in 2021, it was an easy “yes”—and I haven’t looked back since. My only regret is not getting involved sooner! Supporting the incredible staff and administration at Aldrin is deeply personal to me. For over a decade, they’ve shown unwavering kindness, compassion, and encouragement to my family—especially during some of our more challenging seasons. Their presence has truly made a difference, and this role is just one small way I can begin to express my gratitude. Whether it’s cheering us on or helping turn life’s lemons into lemonade, the Aldrin team has always been there. I’m proud to give back to a community that has given us so much.
